We've been going through the book of Acts since September 2006, one chapter, one story, at a time. This week, Paul and Barnabas preach with such power that they get run out of Iconium by angry Jews and almost worshipped as Gods at Lystra. Paul was a guy who saw a lot happen for God because he took a lot of chances and kept going despite hardship, suffering, and failure. If you're gonna change the world for God, you've got to be willing to make messes, fail, and get past the hardships.

If you want to make a difference in the world, you've got to set your heart. You've got to be like Jehoshaphat or Solomon, who set their hearts on God, to serve and obey Him. Wherever you want to go and whatever you want to be in 2008, you've got to set your heart and pursue it if you expect to reach that goal.
