Date: Sunday, June 22, 2008
Speaker: Michael Fisher
Title: Understanding Our Genetic Code, Part Eleven

Who are we as a church? What do we believe? This week, we return to "chromosome pair" six of our genetic code as a church - Evangelism and Discipleship. Discipleship is what following Jesus is all about, first being a disciple of Jesus Himself, then being a disciple of others who are more mature than yourself. All radical world-changers have been disciples and had discipes of their own - now it's your turn!

Jesus Christ - The Standard of the Church

Date: Sunday, June 1, 2008
Speaker: Brian Shuler
Title: Jesus Christ - The Standard of the Church

In the Old Testament, God told Israel to set up camp around their standards, or banners, according to families, tribes, and larger groupings. Ultimately, they all camped around the tabernacle and the pillar of cloud and fire. Just like the Israelites ordering themselves to their standards, God raised Jesus up as the standard of the church, the banner we rally around, the image we attain to reach.
