Who are we as a church? What do we believe? This week, we return again to "chromosome pair" six of our genetic code as a church - Evangelism and Discipleship. The Christian life is a call to preach the gospel and reach those who don't know God. Do we do this by just arguing and winning debates? Not at all! We preach with power, with love, and with a sound mind. Arguing never wins anybody to the Kingdom of God, but demonstrating the love and power of God will.

Who are we as a church? What do we believe? This week, we return again to "chromosome pair" six of our genetic code as a church - Evangelism and Discipleship. Evangelism is the reason the church exists on earth, to reach people with the love of God and confront them with the message that Jesus is Lord! There are all kinds of ways to share the gospel, but the one most used in the Bible is to stand up in public and preach outside where people gather. From Old Testament prophets to John the Baptist, Jesus, and the early disciples, the message of God was declared loudly outside for the world to hear. People today need you to stand and boldly declare the gospel as much as they needed it thousands of years ago - so let's get preaching!
