Life is complicated. Throw in serving God and things can seem even harder. Just open up Leviticus and read some of the laws there to get overwhelmed with rules and regulations on sacrifices, interpersonal relationships, governmental authority, tabernacle maintenance, even haircuts. What's it all boil down to? Jesus over and over again kept bringing things back to simplicity for us. Love God. Love people. Everything else comes from this.
