In chapter 9 of Acts, in an ongoing study of the book, the newly-converted Saul, overcome with zeal for Jesus, begins preaching in the synagogues of Damascus and Jerusalem. His newfound zeal for Jesus angers the Jews so much that local synagogues try to murder him and he flees to Tarsus. We need more Christians today filled with zeal for the gospel like Paul.
