With 2007 coming to a close and 2008 a few days away, it's a perfect time to think about resolving to change your life. Not happy with your job? Change it. Not happy with your major in college? Prophetic Presbytery - Giving, Receiving, and Using the Prophetic Word

Date: Sunday, December 16, 2007
Speaker: Michael Fisher
Title: Prophetic Presbytery - Giving, Receiving, and Using the Prophetic Word

Prophetic presbytery is one of the most powerful ministries around. When God speaks to you through a prophetic presbytery, He speaks words that will build you up, stir you up, and cheer you up. As part of New Members Sunday, Michael Fisher taught on prophecy briefly before the elders and staff layed hands on the new members and prophesied over them.

Acts 14:1-20 - The Return of the Judai(zers)

Date: Sunday, December 9, 2007
Speaker: Michael Fisher
Title: Acts 14:1-20 - The Return of the Judai(zers)

We've been going through the book of Acts since September 2006, one chapter, one story, at a time. This week, Paul and Barnabas get run out of Iconium by a mob of angry Jews, so they run to Lystra and preach some more. They see so many amazing signs and wonders that the people in Lystra think that they're Zeus and Hermes, yet Jews from Iconium return and are able to once again stir up a crowd against them. Through all the conflict, threats, and stonings, Paul and Barnabas just keep preaching.

Acts 13:13-52 - A Man After God's Heart

Date: Sunday, December 2, 2007
Speaker: Michael Fisher
Title: Acts 13:13-52 - A Man After God's Heart

We've been going through the book of Acts since September 2006, one chapter, one story, at a time. This week, Paul and Barnabas head to Antioch of Pisidia and preach to the Jews in the synagogue. When they reject the message, they continue speaking to the Gentiles, who receive it with joy. In Paul's message, he talks about King David, described as "a man after God's heart." Could that be said about your life?
