At our 2007 Summer Retreat in Waupaca, Wisconsin, Derek Miller spoke on the necessity of joy in our lives. Paul himself stated that the kingdom of God consists of righteousness, and peace, and joy. Where does our joy come from? Too often, we receive only temporary joy from things that won't last, but there is one joy that lasts forever - the joy set before us, our eternal home with Jesus when all sorrow will be forever ended.
